According to reports from The News, about 7 APC chiefs have indicated interest to replace Adams Oshiomhole as Edo state governor in 2016.

Chris Ogiemwonyi,
Osarodion Ogie,
Kenneth Imasuagbon
Godwin Obaseki
Although, Oshiomhole has not spoken on his succession plans, it is widely speculated that he is the final arbiter on who succeeds him.
